Poggio La Noce
Shooting, designing, and writing a cookbook for Poggio La Noce, a winery in Fiesole, Italy.

For Enzo’s Kitchen, our goal was to capture the essence of the vineyard through storytelling, photography, and meticulous recipe development. Laura’s photography brings to life the textures and colors of seasonal Tuscan cooking, while Colin’s writing weaves together the stories behind each dish—why it matters, how it’s made, and what it means in the broader landscape of Italian food traditions.
Together, we crafted a book that is more than just a collection of recipes; it’s a love letter to the artistry of simple, honest cooking and the people who make it possible. From documenting hands-on winemaking practices to refining techniques in the kitchen, we worked closely with Poggio La Noce to ensure that every page reflects the passion and authenticity of their approach.

"We are deeply grateful to Laura and Colin for encouraging us from the start to embark on this unique project. Here at Poggio La Noce, we focus on growing grapes, making wine, and sharing our passion with visitors, friends, and family. We never imagined that our journey would lead to writing a cookbook.
"But, one day during harvest, amidst the busy and hectic work, these two arrived during our team lunch and ended up tasting Enzo’s food while lingering over wine. When dessert—a pastiera napoletana—arrived, the spark was lit. Their enthusiasm and persistence kept alive the idea of a book showcasing Enzo's cooking magic.
"In the summer of 2024, they followed Enzo, documenting every recipe despite their jetlag. We are thrilled with the result and so thankful to our tireless photographer and editor duo for bringing this project to life."
