Dai Dai is a storytelling studio built on immersion, curiosity, and craft. We believe that the best food and drink stories aren’t just written or photographed—they’re lived. Our process is hands-on—we show up, ask the right questions, and get to know the people behind the work. The result? Writing, photography, and design that feel as real and vibrant as the people, places, and flavors they represent.
Dai Dai is led by Laura Scherb and Colin Hanner, a wife-and-husband team with a passion for telling stories that matter. Their work has appeared in Esquire, Eater, Thrillist, Edible Chicago, Different Leaf, and Chicago Reader, among others.
